Oxfordshire County Council highways have informed us that there will be a road closure in Watlington from June 2 for a planned three months. Shirburn St will be closed at the junction with Hill Road, with the work to be completed then taking place along the stretch heading out of the town, in the direction of the M40.
We have sought further guidance from the council as to access to Love Lane from the M40 direction, and have been told that the work is to be completed in phases, with Love Lane remaining accessible from the M40 direction until the end of the school year.
