On Friday 6 March, we have been offered a fantastic opportunity for a group of 30 students to take part in a Creative Translation Workshop here at Icknield.
The experience will be run by visiting Language Ambassadors from the Faculty of Modern Languages at Queen’s College, Oxford University. During the workshop, students will engage in creative translation in German – this is not a subject we offer at Icknield so we think this would be a great opportunity for students who are keen to experience a different language.
There is a limited number of spaces for this experience and so we will issue a Microsoft Form after the half term holiday for students to express their interest. Should we have lots more students interested, we will approach Queen’s College to see if we could run another workshop soon.
