REMINDER: Uniform Policy Update

Back
22nd May 2026

A reminder that we updated our Uniform Policy for 2025-26 at the start of this year (see attached) to
include a short sleeve white polo shirt. This will only be permitted during TERM 6 and we have
provided guidance on what types of polo shirt are permitted with links to acceptable items from
supermarket retailers. Please do look at the policy for this guidance so that you can purchase these in
advance of the summer term, if this is something your child would like to wear at that end of the year.

As the purpose of this change is for comfort in the increasingly warmer weather in Term 6, we will not
require students to routinely wear their blazer during the school day. However, students will still be
expected to wear full school uniform including their shirt, tie and blazer for any more formal
events in school such as Awards Evening, so it is important that they still have these ready.

If students don’t want to wear a polo shirt, then they will be expected to be in shirt and tie as
normal. They will not be allowed to wear a school shirt with no tie.

Uniform expectations in terms of trousers, shorts, skirts, shoes and jewellery etc will remain the same, as
per the policy attached.

This uniform adaptation for Term 6 is a trial, which we are doing to help students feel more comfortable
in the warm weather, however, we will review this at the end of the term to decide whether this is
something we continue to offer in this way in Term 6 moving forwards.
