School Council are organising a colour run to celebrate Pride month on Thursday 18 June (subject to weather conditions). During period 5, students will enjoy a kaleidoscopic run around the school site, visiting activity and colour powder stations.
Thursday 18 June will be a non-uniform day to raise money for the LGBT charity Just Like Us. The colour powder will brush off clothes; however, it can stain certain fabrics. Therefore, students should wear clothing (or bring additional clothing to change into) that they don't mind being more colourful after the run than before! The colour powder will show up most brightly on white T-shirts.
We will avoid the colour powder being thrown towards students’ hair or eyes; however, they may wish to wear sunglasses, glasses or goggles.
