Thank you for the generous donations to the charity Just Like Us. School Council are pleased to announce that we have raised £1318.45.
A reminder that School Council are running a Pride reading competition. To take part, students need to read a book by an LGBT author and write a short review. Exchange this review with their School Council representative for chocolate!
The senior students have created a wide range of suggested books to inspire students to get reading. These span graphic novels such as Nimona by Nd Stevenson and Fun Home by Alison Bechdel, dystopian fiction including They both die at the end by Adam Silvera, fantasy novels, like Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and City of Bones by Cassandara Clare and classic works, such as Orlando by Virginia Woolf and the Canterville Ghost by Oscar Wilde.
